IRC Stands for Internet Relay Chat and is a virtual place where people can meet and talk about various things, in what is called channels (rooms) or with private messages.

The oldest and biggest IRC Networks is IRCNet, EFNet, DALnet and Undernet

To use IRC you would either need an IRC client, or the use of webchat[br]
